Some volunteering opportunities are available are suited toward those looking to commit to over a shorter or specific period of time. In these opportunities our volunteers will have specific goals and sometimes their own learning objectives or skills development.
If you have any further queries please don’t hesitate to contact us by email or on 020 3795 1551.
For these placements we are looking for people who are available to commit to a specific time and who are keen to look at developing skills and knowledge. If you are interested in a role, take a look at the role description and follow the application process on the webform outlining how how you can support us, your experience, skills and anything relevant to the role.
With our fixed placements sometimes we have limited number of roles we support, and we advise you to have a look at the dates before registering your interested in the roles.
Fundraising Support Volunteer
This role will sit within the Fundraising Support team, supporting the regionally based national community and events fundraising teams to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Unfortunately at the moment we do not have any formal work experience placements. If you are keen to support us we recommend looking at our ongoing volunteering opportunities and seeing if you would be able to apply for one of those roles. Depending on the role we may be able to offer you a shorter placement based on your time frame, but unfortunately we are unable to guarantee this.
Travel and food expenses
We do our best to ensure our placements are accessible and inclusive and as such have an expenses policy. This is in addition to providing a variety of opportunities to volunteer with various types of commitment needed and the opportunity for flexible working.
As our internships and placements are voluntary we provide expenses agreed in advance for travel and lunch. In line with our volunteering expenses policy we provide expenses for lunch for up to £5 per day for those who volunteer a full day, and travel expenses with a receipt for public transport and 45p per mile for those who drive.
